Burke Mountain is one of Coquitlam’s newest and fastest growing communities of residential neighbourhoods.   Located in the Northeast corner of Coquitlam, Burke Mountain is comprised of single-family homes, townhomes and planned for condo development. Also in the community are retail and commercial properties located at the corner of Coast Meridian Road and David Avenue, with future plans to develop a more robust, pedestrian friendly Burke Mountain Village.

Burke Mountain has its own Elementary Schools for residents of the area  – Smiling Creek Elementary, Coast Salish (formerly Sheffield Elementary) and Leigh Elementary. Burke Mountain Middle and Burke Mountain Secondary,  Northeast Coquitlam Middle and Marigold Street Elementary are still in the Design/Concept and Construction stage and planned to be completed into 2025/2026.

Parks and open green space are plentiful throughout Burke Mountain. Throughout the community you will find lush terrain, breathtaking views, trail networks connecting throughout the mountain, parks and a strong sense of community.  Additional amenities and recreation are planned for Burke Mountain with the Northeast Community Centre. This centre  will include a pool, gymnasiums, fitness, library and community space.
